Shenzhen Peninsula City State Garden Phase IV

The Peninsula City State is located on the south side of Wanghai Road, Dongjiao Tou, Shekou, Nanshan District, Shenzhen; Phase IV is adjacent to Phase II of the Peninsula City State on the west and Phase III on the east. It contains super high-rise residences, a single building open commercial street, hotel, office, cinema, theater, elementary school and kindergarten.

As the only commercial complex on Shenzhen's most beautiful coastline, the project's residential commercial positioning combines the possibilities of city-level commerce. Socialization, scene and community are the precise "portraits" of commercial design. Treating the business as an art gallery and giving the possibility of various functions in the future, bringing art closer to people's lives, this is the original starting point of our design concept.

Unlike the traditional residential commercial model, the commercial area composed of 49 relatively independent boxes with different languages and a unified tone is more like a resort area with leisure and shopping in one. The designers have not only given the 49 boxes strict architectural aesthetic proportions, but also cleverly designed store signs, billboards and led screens on each box, taking into account the future interior effects and lighting to complement the architecture. 49 commercial boxes are divided into 7 clusters, each with its own stylistic language and business attributes, but unified in a white modern minimalist tone. The architectural language fits the future precise commercial positioning and each has multi-functional flexibility, so that shopping can be like viewing an architectural art exhibition, integrating architectural art into commercial activities, rather than letting commerce overwhelm architecture.
