Shenzhen Talent Park
The project is located in the Houhai area of Nanshan, Shenzhen, bordering Shahe West Road to the east, Keyuan Avenue and Dengliang Road to the west, Hyde Three Road to the north and Dongbin Road to the south. The park covers an area of 77 hectares, including 31 hectares of lake surface.
The park is the first park in China with the theme of commending and motivating talents in the context of the continuous influx of global talents to Shenzhen, and the talent element of modern art is an important spatial quality of the park.
The water source of the lake comes from the outer sea and the city center river, with a daily capacity of about 600,000 cubic meters. By configuring different plants for freshwater wetlands, rain gardens and seawater wetlands, it becomes beautiful while optimizing the water environment habitat. The flexible vertical design ensures the park's adaptability to rainwater management under extreme climate conditions. The different scales of space around the waterfront provide various experiences of human-water relationships, satisfying the innate closeness to water and becoming a theater of time and urban life, where various acts are performed every day.
The book bar and exhibition hall facing the lake, the continuous 2.7 km blue runway around the lake, the high-standard equipped showers, the well-designed children's playground, the water-friendly rocky beach and the open lawn have all become the best places for the public to get close to nature. At the same time, the park also provides a good habitat for various birds. The free sandstone beach island group in the lake body serves as one of the landing points for plovers and sandpipers on their twice-yearly migration route, and the standing bird piles in the lake and the rich and diverse flowering and fruit-bearing plants are all making efforts to build a good biological habitat.
