Shenzhen Futian Liyuan Foreign Language Primary School (North Campus)
The project is located in the middle of Futian District, Shenzhen, southeast of the intersection of Lotus Road and Jingtian Road, adjacent to Futian CBD, south and west of which are adjacent to the planning road, and north and east of which are adjacent to Zhuanmoyuan District.
The development and construction land area is 8700.13 square meters, the total construction area is 29365 square meters, the above-ground construction area is 14700 square meters (including teaching and teaching support rooms, office rooms, living rooms, etc.), and the underground construction area is 3000 square meters, the main function is the canteen and the weather playground, etc. It is planned to build 30 classes, with about 1,350 students and more than 100 teaching staff.
The campus has a 6-story high teaching building and a 200-meter circular runway playground on the south side. The building is composed of two U-shaped blocks facing each other, emphasizing the combination of indoor space and outdoor space. The atrium is the central social area and visual focal point of the campus, emphasizing the solemnity and order of the educational hall, while the interlocking staircases and sky corridors create a flowing, connected and open atmosphere.
Above each level are multi-level green platforms, with overhanging platforms and vertical greenery forming a variety of outdoor spaces. The interior spaces also break the pattern of single classroom arrangement and are staggered to create a vertical miniature educational city, encouraging social sharing among students, allowing students to gain more positive experiences in interaction and building interpersonal relationships, and promoting their social growth.
In a high-density urban settlement with limited land and surrounded by existing old buildings, the design aims to create a campus environment that is less disturbed, independent and private, while injecting new energy, openness and sharing into the community, using the school to stitch the surrounding buildings together and reshape the spirit of place in the area from the environment as a whole.
