Guiyang Zhongtian Dongmao Center
Guiyang Zhongtian Dongmao Center is located in the southern part of the Future Ark project in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, and includes super high-rise office residences, apartments and a high-rise boutique hotel and a multi-storey commercial pedestrian street on a hill retreat. The design highlights the concept of "gateway", utilizing the traditional cultural elements of "gate - platform - building - pavilion" and interpreting the regional traditional culture with modern design language and materials, making it a model of local open living neighborhood complex.
The project makes reasonable use of the site height difference, sets up an underground garage, and forms a receding commercial interface. A north-south commercial spine is set up to guide the flow of people from the elevation of Beijing East Road down to the elevation of Huanan Road and Shuidong Road. The design of the commercial street with mountainous terrain retreat maximizes the commercial value of the terrain. The rich façade form of villa-style commercial, the expressive sloping roof, and the small-scale, neighborhood-style layout that is conducive to the gathering of commercial popularity will make the receding commercial street exude a very attractive and special charm. A variety of small, subtle, fun-filled hotel public spaces provide a unique experience for people. In addition, the project features a creative sky bridge with an expressive shape that enhances the landmark of the area. At the same time, the interior will greatly enhance the quality of the hotel as a public space part of the hotel. Its top can be used as a continuation of the elevated plaza of Beijing East Road, which will become an important viewing place in Guiyang in the future.
