Shenzhen Q_Plex
Located at the core area of Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) in NanShan District, Q_PLEX plays the role of an upgrade in the east industrial zone of OCT. By re-defining, re-designing and re-developing part of the industrial buildings, the complex which covers an area of over 350,000㎡ presents a variety of distinctive spaces to fit contemporary work and lifestyles in the post-industrial era, creating a new urban industrial base that integrates “creativity, design and art”.
The north-south pedestrian axis connects the south entrance plaza, the green leisure square at central campus and the public open green space for sports in the northeast. The outer public ring road is arranged along the perimeter of the campus, connecting major roads of the city; the inner public ring road is organized around the central multi-storey structures and public squares, joining all surrounding high-rise buildings together. The central green leisure square and multi-storey comprehensive industrial buildings make an organic combination, forming a 3D open recreational space throughout the park.
