Shenzhen Dapeng New Area More Field Tail Village Comprehensive Improvement
Qiangchangwei, located in the eastern coastal area of Shenzhen's Dapeng New Area, this formerly obscure coastal village is becoming a uniquely attractive hotspot in regional tourism development with its spontaneous formation of a cluster of distinctive B&B inns. And the original space can't quite keep up with the pace of development.
From the beginning of the project, we conducted a detailed investigation and study of the current situation, and summarized seven important issues, including "upgrading transportation facilities, history and future of old houses, reshaping the spirit of place, urban and rural areas, residents and tourists, collective economic development, and sustainable development for the future", and actively searched for We are actively seeking solutions based on local characteristics.
As a pioneering and exemplary project of the fifth generation of urban renewal in Shenzhen, the comprehensive redevelopment of the more-field tail is another pioneering work of OB Design in the integrated design practice of planning, landscape, architecture and engineering. Based on the resource-driven, top-level design, public demand and market demand, the planning proposal innovatively proposes the development model of "multiple economic development-driven coastal village regeneration", summarizing and refining the development characteristics of "natural growth, government guidance, private organization and market operation", with a flexible and adaptable cell model, which can be divided and clustered.
